PHP / MySQL Drupal Developer

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications using PHP and MySQL
• Expert knowledge of Drupal, ability to fully customize it for a site from scratch and to write modules
• Comfortable with integrating apps with payment gateways such as PayPal, Google Checkout and with third-party APIs
• Detail-oriented, thorough, and professional
• US/Canada resident
Additional Skills of Interest (Not required, but a plus):
• Experience integrating PHP / MySQL with Flash / Actionscript
• Knowledge of semantic / standards-based HTML markup
• Experience working/customizing common open source web apps (WordPress, phpBB, etc)
• Using the “DRY” approach when building apps

Job Description:
We are looking for talented, self-motivated PHP developers with proven experience developing and/or customizing modules for Drupal.
Candidates interested in on-going off-site contract opportunities must be located in either Canada or the United States, and be available via skype during the duration of each contract.

Technical skills required are the following:
• At least 2 years experience working with Drupal and a strong understanding of Drupal API.
• E-commerce, Paypal and Authorize.net
• JavaScript, especially AJAX, is an asset.An eye for design will also be a considerable asset.
