Mobile Messenger, located in Los Angeles, CA is looking for a Web Designer.

Key Responsibilities
• Design & implementation of feature rich, interactive, and dynamic mobile entertainment web sites both for Mobile Messenger and its clients.
• Design of advanced navigation, banners, logos, animation, print and multimedia advertisements.
• Work closely with Account Managers and other Designers to help ensure campaign CRF requirements are met for each project.
• Liaise with Marketing, Account Management, QA, New Markets, Sales and Configuration teams to successfully launch campaigns globally.
• Tracking and improvement of individual hours for projects.
• Utilization of UI best practices, innovative layout, and clean navigation.
• Administration duties such as maintenance of design folders in company directory and sites on servers. Study and upkeep of design processes/ procedures.
• Other tasks outlined by Lead Web Designer.

Essential Skills/Attributes
• Experience in using: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash)FTP clients (cuteFTP, Filezilla, etc.)
• Hand-coding of HTML, CSS, light Actionscript, intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
• Ability to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail regarding both design and copy, ability to QA
• Basic FTP and server folder management
• 3-5 yrs of design experience with strong graphic & web design skills desirable
• Experience in the Mobile Entertainment or related industry
• Advanced Flash Actionscript
• Web development experience with basic knowledge of PHP

The designer we are seeking is efficient, works well independently, and has a clean/elegant style. Projects will range from quick web layout projects, to print projects, to expansive web design work. Know of about a half a dozen projects right now and that list keeps growing.

Must haves:
* Clean and elegant graphic design abilities
* Able to layout print materials and have a good understanding of designing for print
* Excellent web layout and presentation eye through decent XHTML/CSS hand-coding skills

Nice to haves:
* Some javascript programming for interactive UIs
* Flash animation
