Description:
Remo Creative, LLC., a visual communications company located in New Haven County, CT, is building a virtual office.

Applicants should be full-time freelance graphic designers capable of professional service and quick turnarounds. Applicants can be located anywhere but must work from a professional home studio equipped with high-speed Internet.

Design:
-3-5 years working in a creative agency, firm or in-house creative department
-A portfolio that contains exceptional and relevant concept creation, design layout principles and strong use of typography
-Ability to show your exposure to multiple platforms of design (e.g. print collateral, identity design, annual reports/catalogs, environmental, online)
-Ability to take art direction and use it to enhance the overall concept and design aesthetic

Technical Skills:
-Strong to expert level CS3 skills: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
-Ability to prepare final mechanical files for release to printer
-Online creative experience is a plus

Folica.com, the web’s premier destination for hair care, has an immediate opening in NYC for a talented freelance web designer with experience working in e-commerce. Beauty experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Design effective and engaging emails, individual promotions, and external marketing collateral to drive traffic to folica.com
• Design promotional banners for use on the site and across the web
• Design landing pages and specific site elements to correspond with promotions and special events
• Contribute to a compelling shopping experience on folica.com with the goal of increasing sales and building brand loyalty

Requirements:
• 2-4 years of interactive design experience, including at least 1 year of e-commerce experience
• Strong time management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML skills (Flash and CSS skills are a plus)

The ideal candidate is creative, a team player, takes initiative and is fun to work with.
