* Well-versed with Mac OSX, familiarity with Windows
* Proficient in Hand Coding, XHTML, and CSS
* Proficient in Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash Action Script, Photoshop, ImageReady
* Knowledgeable of JavaScript and PHP
* Comfortable creating Adobe Flash banners for online advertisements
* Capable of developing promotional eBlasts and eNewsletters
* Capable of developing and maintaining clients’ websites
* Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator
* Well-experienced with FTP and prepared to instruct others to use such
* Knowledge of Linux based hosting

thebigword, a language management company based in the UK, is currently recruiting for English to Swiss Italian freelance translators to join a team, carrying out financial and banking related translations for a premier global financial services company.

We are therefore looking to put together a team of approved suppliers to handle the English to Swiss Italian translation needs for this client.

Requirements:
*Ideal candidates will be Swiss Italian mother tongue
*Must have at least 3 years full time translation experience
*Candidates must have previous experience of translating banking and financial materials.
*Translators must also be working with Trados version 6.5 or above and TagEditor.

We require translators to take a short test piece before being approved for this client.
