As part of our ongoing SaaS Reviews, this week we reviewed Online Calendars. The FreelanceWeekly Choice is Calendar Wiz, meeting all of FreelanceWeeklys’ five requirements as an excellent SaaS provider. With all standard features and a ton of extras, this calendar is sure to meet all your business needs.
UPDATE: In response to West’s commend from July 13th, Jamie Moore from CalendarWiz support wrote us with some corrections:
“We would like the opportunity to correct inaccuracies in the post or better yet have the post removed. For example, CalendarWiz does offer phone support and very timely email support in typically less than 2 hour turn around. We do NOT lock your calendar if you are one day late paying – actually it is 60 days after 2 notifications. Our Basic CalendarWiz Subscription starts at $8.00 per month with free email technical support.”
Freelancing is my life. It's what I know, it's what I'm good at, and I can't imagine doing anything else. You can call me "Freddie the Freelancer"… because I'd prefer not to use my real name for reasons that I'll tell you about in a moment.

July 2011: While CalendarWiz.com has some good features, here’s a list of why it’s a POOR choice for a small business or corporation:
– You have NO access to the list of email addresses of persons who sign up for your events. No export, no viewer, no reporting, nada.
– If you’re ONE day late on paying, CalendarWiz will LOCK / prevent you from making any edits / changes to your data.
– NO phone contact whatsoever. Email support only and replies are not timely.
At just under $200/year, it’s just not worth the headache of the aforementioned shortfalls.
We eventually moved our events calendar to Google’s service which, by the way, is ZERO COST and offers many of the SAME features as CalendarWiz.com
