I was pleasantly surprised when I visited www.Hotfreelancejobs.com. The first thing I noticed (other than the colors were NOT the colors of fire) was they put the number of jobs available under the header. How cool is that, you immediately know this site has jobs to offer. That being said, I discovered this site was not as it appeared. When you clicked on a job you are taken to basic information and there is also a list of related jobs to view. When you click on “View Original Job Posting” you are taken to a completely different website such as EUfreelance.com or Scriptlance.com or a variety of other freelance job sites. And there I thought this was a one stop job search, nothing ever seems to be that easy!

This is still a nice website to visit. There are sixty-nine categories to choose from. They are lined up on the left side of the page and list the number of jobs beside each one. There are no extras on the page, it’s just a list and you click and then you go somewhere else. I like the sites that don’t confuse me and I don’t have to search through all the “stuff” to find what I need.

There is a page which lists other freelance sites and gives information on what those sites hold. There is also a page that explains the payment methods, since some of these jobs are global and are paid in Euros.

All in all, even after my surprise of this not being the type of site I originally thought, I would visit it again for the simple set up and easy navigating. This just might be a good site to start with when looking for that “HOT” freelance job!
