Position Overview:

Performs fundamental flash designing tasks required in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other materials, as required. The incumbent must exercise good interpersonal and flash designing skills. Must be available to work as needed.

Specific Responsibilities

• Performs routine flash designing functions, including formatting and some production planning.
• Works directly with Senior Technical Editors or Requestors to review copy, and other materials submitted. Recommends flash designing improvements for accuracy of expression, clarity, and consistency.
Assists in coordinating specific flash designing by working with other Technical Editors, authors/requesters, and required technical publications resources.
• Reviews and verifies materials after reproduction to ensure conformance.
Serves as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education/Experience

Degree in Design or related field (or equivalent). 2-4 years offlash designing is required.

Skills/Competencies

Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. In addition, a demonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related software for word processing, desktop publishing, and graphics is required, as well as accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and clarity in conformance with required formats and standards.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Seeking a freelance Project Coordinator to work in our internal Creative Service Group
(CSG) within A&E Television Network. Provide support to the Project Management department, Cost Control department and CSG team.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Open and ensure effective distribution of all job requests to project management team thru internal database; closing out completed jobs in database.
• Maintain coordination and distribution of all job folders and maintain database.
• Manage day-to-day interaction with internal clients and CSG to ensure all job elements and information are correct.
• Produce and distribute daily status reports.
• Assist project managers with day-to-day routing of jobs, gathering and disseminating feedback on specific projects.
• Assist with Costs Control department; issue and update reports, as required.
• Maintain library of all creative for all projects and brands.
• General administrative office duties that includes scheduling meetings, copying and filing.

REQUIREMENTS:

College degree, preferably in communications or marketing, 2-3 years of cable network/advertising agency and project management experience preferred. Familiarity with graphic programs is helpful. Strong organizational and communications skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines are necessary. Must be a self-starter, work effectively as part of a team or on ones’ own and have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high pressure environment.
Heavy data entry; Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills is required.
