For Freelancers Only – Freelance Sites, Tools of the Trade Series
I have known for years that I am not a morning person, so why I look up freelance sites in the morning is beyond me. That being said, I recently went to www.allfreelancework.com to check out their list of freelance jobs. There’s a great deal of “stuff” on the home page of this website. While that can be a good thing, I couldn’t decide whether I was overwhelmed or fascinated by everything there was to view. But again, my mind works slowly in the mornings!
There are seven categories plus an “Others” category, to choose from, listed at the top of the homepage. However, when I chose a category, none of the jobs were recent. When I went to the job tabs, current listings came up. I never quite understood how to find the particular job I looked up from the category selection. When you choose a job, the Job Description and Requirements are shown, and there is also an “other” column which may have a link to the company’s website, then below that are job tags. All in all, basic information you would need in deciding whether you would like to apply or not. There is also a “starburst” thing (which is really out of character in relation to the font style of the site), which allows you to apply for that job.
There are many different headings to select which include Chat, a Forum, Articles, Groups, and other freelance information. Again, just a great deal of choices, I would have rather seen more job opportunities.
I thought I was getting the hang of this website, until I went down to the bottom and clicked on “About Us”. I was then taken to a completely new site, and I just had to quit. I will study that site for my next review. Too much for the morning!
Visit www.allfreelancework.com and be ready to spend some time exploring this website to see what all it offers. Word of Caution though, if your brain doesn’t function well in the morning, either wait until later to visit this site, or at least have a cup of coffee ready. Good luck in landing that freelance job!
Freelancing is my life. It's what I know, it's what I'm good at, and I can't imagine doing anything else. You can call me "Freddie the Freelancer"… because I'd prefer not to use my real name for reasons that I'll tell you about in a moment.
