About: Pacific Data Marketing or PacificDM was established in 1993 as a human resources software-consulting firm representing Sage Software® Abra Suite® HR/Payroll, Recruiting such as Sage Abra eRecruiter and Training and Sage FAS programs. Abra eRecruiter is a 100% Web-based process-oriented applicant tracking system that completely streamlines the recruitment process.
Set Up: Sage Abra eRecruiter can be hosted in the customer’s premises or in one of their hosting partners facilities. This is not a stand alone application. It is part of a suite of HRMS software. Should you choose to install the software on your personal server, Pacific Data does provide an onsite or remote service that provides Certified and Authorized Consultants to assist in the installation and configuration process.
Navigation: Sage Abra eRecruiter’s straight forward layout makes this web-based application very easy to use.
Sharing: Sage Abra eRecruiter offers online applications, screening questions, integration to major job boards, built-in workflow and e-mail communications allowing recruiters, hiring managers, applicants, executives, and employees to manage the recruiting process.
Pricing: Pacific Data Marketing sets its own competitive pricing for Sage Abra eRecruiter, so you will need to contact PacificDM to discuss your needs.
Customer Service: PacificDM schedules a Certified Consultant to speak with their customers directly. So for support, you would need to call and schedule a time.
Recommendation: Because Sage Abra eRecruiter has a wide variety of interface applications and it is a 100% web based system, I highly recommend this product.

ChoicePoint is an industry leader in providing decision-making analytics to mitigate risk and reduce fraud, particularly in underwriting personal and commercial, P&C, insurance, screening and authentication.
Set Up: ChoicePoint offers a low product ownership cost with simple installation and automated updates. It can run on LexisNexis servers eliminating the need for product installation or system maintenance from your internal IT resources
Navigation: ChoicePoint’s 24/7 online access, screen layout and simple color scheme makes it very easy to use.
Sharing: ChoicePoint’s online automated applicant data capture system helps speed up the hiring process and keep the customer up-to-date and informed. When Applications have been submitted and the Background Check results are returned, the customer will receive automated alerts and visual notification of candidate responses to questions on the online background questionnaires. Once these steps are completed, screening services can quickly be initiated and the applicant’s information will be electronically populated eliminating duplicate data entry.

ChoicePoint offers a range of solutions to help meet company needs, ranging from a self-service user-friendly Web site, to a comprehensive list of a la carte products and services that can be mixed and matched based on the customer’s needs.
Customer Service: ChoicePoint requires that you contact them directly for concerns, issues or questions, making their customer service not as responsive as it could be.
Recommendation ChoicePoint’s ability to provide Background Checks is a plus feature that the other applications do not offer. Despite the fact that a software installation is required does not compensate for a 100% online system. However, I do recommend this product.

Set Up: !Trak-it software requires direct installation on the customer’s computer.
Navigation: Its access via a graphic toolbar, pull-down menus, or shortcut keys makes this application very user friendly. It is easy to learn and comfortable to use.
Sharing: !Trak-It Link currently has interfaces to many payrolls and payroll services such as: ADP, BRC, CPUI, CSC, Pay-e, PayChex, ProBiz and Zurich Payroll.
Pricing: !Trak-It Solutions offers numerous configurations and options for the Human Resources and Applicant Tracking software system based on the number of active employees as well as other parameters. Any size system can be upgraded to a larger size or have options added at any time by simply making a phone call to !Trak-It.
!Trak-It Applicant has a Web Interface feature for an extra cost, that allows your HR department to instantly publish job openings on your own web site. It is a customizable interface that also allows interested applicants to fill out an online job application or send a resume back to HR that can then be automatically extracted into Applicant’s databases.
Customer Service: !Trak-It Solutions Technical Support can be reached by either using their Online Support Form, or by calling them directly.
Recommendation: Even though !Trak-It is a very easy-to-use Applicant Tracking System, I would try one of the other Applicant Tracking Software before purchasing this application because of its stand alone restrictions.

This is a 100% false statement. Yes Sage Abra eRecruiter is a web based system, but it is hosted by YOU. On your company servers. There are weeks of set up required, not just in installing the product, but setting up the rules and so on. There is a 400 page manual that comes with this. IF you’re buying eRecruiter don’t go in blind.
