Freelance proofreading opportunities are available on a project-by-project basis. Only those proofreaders who can do soft-proofing (annotations) using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 should apply.

Specialty areas needed are medical, technical (math, accounting, engineering, chemistry), and el-hi. A minimum of two years experience in journal or textbook proofreading is required. Please be prepared to submit to testing.
