The Job:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for proofreading printed material promoting our diverse clients’ products and services, on an as-needed basis.

Reviewing proofs to ensure:
•  Client revisions have been applied.
•  Spelling, grammar, punctuation, point size, text style, accuracy, spacing and formatting are correct and consistent.
•  All necessary credits, air dates, ratings and copyright notices for movies, events and television shows are present and accurate.
•  Specific information from grids – including codes, phone numbers, offers, pricing, disclaimers and expiration dates – is present and correct.
•  Names of channels and services in text appear with the correct capitalization, legal marks, punctuation, spacing and spelling
•  Style and branding guidelines are adhered to
•  Utilizing multiple information resources to verify accuracy of  information.
•  Checking movie studio and television network affiliate websites for updates to copyright notices, key art and channel logos.
•  Exercising strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently within strict production schedule deadlines

IMPORTANT NOTES
•  Applicant must pass proofreading assessment.
•  Mac experience and proofreader’s marks are a plus, but not required.
•  ONLY applicants who have experience as a proofreader will be considered.
