WritingCareer.com – Freelance Site, Tools of the Trade
WritingCareer.com is a writer’s heaven. This site offers writing career advice, career training, career education and most importantly, writing careers. Launched by a freelance writer, Brian Konradt, it was created to help educate people about different types of writing and careers and to help them decide if freelance writing is right for them.
There are over 400 freelance writing jobs listed on this site that are updated daily. Copywriting, blogging, short and long article writing are just a few to choose from. The neat thing is the freelancer doesn’t have to bid in order to get the project. They simply email their resume and a sample of their work to the address provided.
Also offered is a listing of writing contests, providing the freelancer an outlet to showcase his abilities and possibly win a monetary prize, and writing events, where the freelancer can brush up on his writing skills.
This site is a great tool for the freelancer because it offers not only job postings and writing contests, but tips and tricks that can help the freelancer succeed, including free downloadable books about different styles of writing.
Freelancing is my life. It's what I know, it's what I'm good at, and I can't imagine doing anything else. You can call me "Freddie the Freelancer"… because I'd prefer not to use my real name for reasons that I'll tell you about in a moment.
