The Writejobs.com  is a specialty job board and career resource for journalism, media, publishing and writing professionals. The Write Jobs is part of Writer’s Write, Inc., a network of resources for creative professionals which includes WriteNews.com and WritersWrite.com.

While this site is very low-tech there are several job listings for the freelance writer. The listings include legal writers, scientific writers, health and technical writers along with freelance writers. There are even postings for editors, copy writers and analysts. Some of these posting to require onsite work, but there are remote positions also. An email address is provided under the job description in order for the freelancer to apply for the preferred jobs.

One of the nice things about this site is the fact that most of the employers who have jobs listed need more that one freelancer. Also there are no bidding competitions and the companies who have posted jobs are reputable giving the freelancer a sense of security.
