Job Description
Barefoot Books is looking for a freelance web developer to support the development of new features and functionality on our website. The site has been recently launched and combines marketing, ecommerce and community functionalities.
The site’s ecommerce foundation is Magento while the underlying CMS is Concrete5. Prior experience with either of these platforms is highly desirable. The work required is a mix of project based feature enhancements and smaller functionality tweaks. 3+ years of experience in similar OS/PHP technical environments is required.
Professional references from similar work are required. Local individuals in the Boston area are preferred.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The As Needed Graphics Consultant will provide graphics support to the Trial Services Graphics Consultants in Atlanta as needed on a project basis. The success of a trial often depends on presenting complex material in a clear, concise and compelling manner. The FTI Trial Services team includes GRAPHICS CONSULTING experts who specialize in a wide range of visual communications devices and graphics. Our consultants select the most appropriate presentation formats to maximize impact and memorability, and then create persuasive graphic presentations that support, clarify and emphasize the key themes of a case. We provide superior illustrations and visual aids that help simplify complex technical subjects for jurors.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
* Production of graphic exhibits for courtroom, client and marketing presentations including PowerPoint graphics, animation and board graphics
* Work directly with lead consultants to develop persuasive presentations with impact that support case themes
* Work with lead consultants and clients in on-site production environment to provide graphics support at trial
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Strong design and computer skills with experience in a professional environment
* Must be PowerPoint expert w/ Illustrator and Photoshop on the PC platform
* Ability to work independently
* Flexibility in taking direction and developing work product that conforms to project constraints
* Accurate, efficient and consistent performance in demanding, deadline driven situations
* Flash and 3D modeling/animation a plus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in the arts or related field
* Business, information design and presentation samples in PowerPoint format required
* Experience in an office environment a plus
* Possession of sufficient credit to facilitate travel if and when required.

The medical animator creates complex animation that is anatomically accurate and specific to the case facts. All work must be done in FTI’s Atlanta office.

§ Work directly with lead consultants to develop persuasive presentations with impact that support case themes
SKILLS REQUIRED:
§ Expertly skilled in LightWave and AfterEffects
§ Strongly skilled in PowerPoint, Illustrator and Flash on a PC platform
§ Flexibility in taking direction and developing work product that conforms to project constraints
§ Accurate, efficient and consistent performance in demanding, deadline driven situations
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
§ 2+ years experience creating medical animation in a professional setting
§ Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in the arts or related field
§ Business, information design and presentation samples in PowerPoint format required
§ Experience in an office environment a plus
