Required Qualification/Skills:

1+ years experience developing games in ActionScript 2.0
2+ years experience developing games in ActionScript 3.0
1+ years of an OOP language such as Java, C++, C#, Unity, etc.
3+ years of Game Development Experience
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
Knowledge of the Flash 10 and Flash CS4 (10) IDE
Knowledge of the Flex Programming Environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative technical problem solver with strong attention to detail
Must be interested in games

Candidate must have experience with all software development life cycle phases (Project planning, requirements definition, Systems design, Implementation, Integration and testing, installation, deployment, & Maintenance )

Freelance Media Planner & Buyer

The Media Planner is the day-to-day focal point to the Media Services portion of the account.  It is the Media Planner who has the primary day-to-day responsibility for assigned interactive media efforts and is expected to be unquestionably familiar with all account details as they pertain to online media strategy, execution and results.  The Media Planner is also the lead for the entire media planning and strategy process and they provide input to the strategic direction with the senior account team in order to create the best plans possible that also integrate / complement the overall Brand objectives.

Lead acquisition is a focus. Although the position is freelance now it has the potential to become a full time position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

CLIENT LEADERSHIP

o Drives the creation of client media objectives and strategies
o Interact with client to encourage new Media opportunities
o Prepare documentation for the client regarding Media plans, and reports on plan performance
o Keeps up with and advises clients on the latest trends in interactive media.
o Looks for new opportunities
o Fields incoming media opportunities and proposals for various clients and prospect clients
o Assist in creation of Media Plan presentations

MEDIA PLANNING

o Develops buying strategies for maximizing media dollars, and handles media negotiations
o Coordinate with Account Services to create best marketing opportunities for Web sites and media placement (i.e. Which banners should run on each ad program)
o Conduct and provide research support during development of media strategies and plans using @Plan, Media Metrix, Nielsen-NetRatings, AdRelevance, etc.
o Develops media plans specifically investigating sites, special opportunities and positions and authors documents relating to the plan (must be able to create a media brief and RFP from client input)
o Creates media plan flowcharts in conjunction with the overall program architecture and media buy authorizations  / IO’s
o Determines placements for ads
o Strategizes ways to most effectively use Internet and other interactive media dollars to the greatest benefit for our clients
o Helps clients integrate interactive media into their advertising and marketing programs

MEDIA EXECUTION & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

o Provides creative analysis and input to the ad unit sizing, design and development particularly as it relates to the ad unit placement and development standards
o Develops the flighting grid and inputs ad unit assets into Atlas or DoubleClick
o Collaborates with Analytics team to ensures appropriate tracking and measurement tags are put in place to gauge the success of the overall campaign
o Coordinates and drives media campaign launch
o Rigorously maintains media budgets or media spend summaries

MEDIA ANALYSIS & OPTIMIZATION

o Understands intricacies of various tracking services
o Analyzes audit statements and syndicated research at a sophisticated level to determine immediate and longitudinal success of the media campaign
o Works with team to analyze tracking results and write detailed summaries of end of campaign results
o Works closely with client throughout entire program to maintain performance and resolve any performance issues

VENDOR MANAGEMENT

o Negotiates partnership contracts with sites as needed
o Create and maintain relationships with Online vendors
o Negotiate with Online vendors to ensure best pricing and most prolific exposure to disease conditions
o Meet regularly with vendors to keep current with available promotional programs
o Maintains relationship with sites including new opportunities and creative issues

Experience Requirements:

o 4-6 years of media planning/buying experience. At least three years of online media planning/buying, including experience in all aspects of the process.
o Good writing and presentation skills
o Excellent decision and negotiating Skills
o Strong knowledge of interactive media including various buy approaches (e.g. CPM, CPA, CPC, etc.)
o Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
o Experience using ad serving technologies
o Experience with online research tools such as ComScore Media Metrix, Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, etc.
