Magnani Caruso Dutton is looking for an Interactive Senior Project Manager / Producer (SPM) with online media experience to join our growing team. This position is initially freelance/contract with potential for full-time basis.
The SPM is responsible for managing the execution of Internet-related projects from concept through development and delivery. This includes liaising with clients (stakeholders), managing resources, project scheduling and management, budget tracking and status reporting – and any related factors that affect project success to ensure delivery of product within time, cost and quality parameters.
Requirements – the candidate must possess the following:
* Prior interactive/digital media agency experience
* 5+ years of project management experience, including team management
* Comprehensive knowledge of interactive/internet communications projects, especially online media experience
* Solid track record of successfully developing projects from start to completion
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams in high-pressure situations
* Outstanding organizational, presentation and negotiation skills
* Ability to multi-task and process information expeditiously
* Strong web and technical knowledge as well as computer skills, including MS Project
General Duties will include:
* Develop, produce and delivery of online programs
* Help to set tone for client engagements
* Oversee architecture and implementation of interactive projects
* Create and maintain project plans
* Coordinate with the Production Director and other producers in the efficient utilization of resources
* Work across the creative, design, and production teams to ensure proper and full implementation of the project plan
* Update project plans and relay project status to clients

* Excellent html/css skills. You can translate a collection of Photoshop PSDs into a comprehensive system of html and css. You patiently test code across browsers and platforms. You understand how semantically-correct html translates into search engine-friendly content.

We would like for you to have…
* Experience with WordPress and PHP.

This is primarily a remote gig but there will be periodic meetings at our SoHo office, and in the initial phase it will be important that you work closely with our CTO.
As a remote gig, you will also need your own machine and access to various platforms and browsers for testing. Ideally you have a Mac running Windows in virtualization.

Freelance Tutorial/Screencast Contributor

Needed to regularly submit screencasts/tutorials similar, but not exactly like http://www.practicalecommerce.com/articles/1037-Web-Design-Tips-Configuring-Templates-Adding-a-Product-Grid-in-Magento-
The tutorials must use widely-accepted best practices and be technically detailed.
This is an ongoing freelance/independent contractor position. If accepted, you will be asked (paid) to produce tutorials for a trial period. Assuming all is well during the trial period, you will be asked to produce tutorials on an ongoing basis, 52 weeks per year.
Conpensation
The contributor would be paid; would, of course, have a byline; and would receive backlinks to his or her site/sites. Think of it as a great way to get paid while self promoting.
