The Position:
Responsibilities:

Utilizing a specific Netflix content guide, the Movie Analyst will be responsible for watching 2-5 pre-assigned movie titles per week. In accordance with the guide, the candidate will be responsible for analyzing the film’s content in a highly detailed, precise spreadsheet format. Pre-assigned films will be furnished free of charge.

Requirements:

Viable candidates must possess polished writing skills, excellent analytical acumen, superb knowledge of film, working knowledge of movie history, strong familiarity with the internet, and proficiency with Excel. Experience writing script coverage is greatly preferred. Movie review writing and a film school background are also tremendous pluses.

Primary requirements include:

Ability to watch and analyze a diverse selection of films
Previous professional script coverage experience
Extensive familiarity with Excel and MS Office
Extensive movie & movie history knowledge
An advanced degree in Film Studies

Job Description: We are currently looking for new writers to join our friendly network of freelancers. We recruit international and US based writers and accept applications from experienced writers as well as those who are just starting out writing as a profession.

Working with us you can choose the amount of work you want to take on, whether you are just interested in taking on a few assignments per week, or are an experienced writer who can cope with full time work, we cater for both.

We cover lots of different topics so ideally we are looking for someone who is flexible and can produce articles on various subjects, however if you have specific areas of expertise we do try to utilise them.

For a simple 250 word article we pay USD3 (most experienced writers being able to complete four in an hour) and move up in pay from there depending on the project and the word count. We pay through Paypal a month in arrears.
