About Us:
We’re a small start-up creating intuitive web apps that make it easier for people to discover, explore and organize information. Our team is smart, creative, disciplined and ambitious. We’re looking for programming talent to breathe life into our prototypes and help push the evolution of our products.
About You:
You’re an experienced and entrepreneurial Rails and/or PHP developer looking for a new challenge. You’re boundary-pushing, hard-working, detail-oriented and fun-loving (and you’re amused by long lists of hyphenated adjectives). Bonus points if you have experience using social media APIs. Super bonus points if you’re located in Chicago.
The Situation:
We’re self-funded and currently devoting evenings and weekends to this venture. We’re open to paying for quality development work by the hour but would rather offer the right candidate an ownership (equity) stake in the application.
What Comes Next:
Send us your resume or URLs of stuff you’ve built. Or better yet, both. Also try to give us a sense of who you are, what you’re interested in and why you think you’d be a good fit. Make it good.
Thanks.
Apply: Please indicate in your email that you’ve come to us via Authentic Jobs.

Freelancing is my life. It's what I know, it's what I'm good at, and I can't imagine doing anything else. You can call me "Freddie the Freelancer"… because I'd prefer not to use my real name for reasons that I'll tell you about in a moment.
