Freelancing Gigs – October 30, 2009
Looking for WordPress (PHP), XHTML, CSS, jQuery guru
URL: http://www.authenticjobs.com/jobs/4171/
(Anywhere in USA) US developers only, please. Small, boutique marketing agency seeking talented Web developer. We supply CS4 PSDs; you match them to the pixel.
You need to know WordPress forward and backward, and should have a few WP plugins in your repertoire. Ideally, you’ve got mad skillz with jQuery, especially jQuery UI. (Think Web site interaction, animation, advanced effects.)
Generally speaking, you adhere to W3C standards, 508 guidelines, write valid, semantic XHTML Strict, and know which CSS will work in which browsers.
Basically, we’re looking for folks who can demonstrate high-end work and have a great attitude about it. To prove you’ve read this description and can follow instructions, please include the word cabbage in the subject of your e-mail.
So, show us your best work. Send links to three sites you’ve coded with JPGs of the original PSD comps. Point out anything you’re especially proud of.

We are looking to establish a long-term relationship with the right person. We won’t be your bread and butter, but we will have a pretty regular supply of work.

Freelancing is my life. It's what I know, it's what I'm good at, and I can't imagine doing anything else. You can call me "Freddie the Freelancer"… because I'd prefer not to use my real name for reasons that I'll tell you about in a moment.
