Web / UI / UX Designer for Web-based Job Scheduler Operations Console

Anywhere

We are a job scheduler software company. Our software product performs job scheduling, workflow, and file transfer functions for a wide variety of customers, many of whom are financial companies.

Our product includes a Web application that customers use to monitor and control running jobs. It’s called the Operations Console.

The existing Operations Console needs user interface improvements as well as look-and-feel improvements.

For a mockup of what it looks like today, see this link:

Description:

We want to make several user interface changes to make it easier for our customers to use our job scheduler. We want the look-and-feel to be modern and likeable. In short, we want our users to LOVE using our user interface.

We’re looking for a web designer to work with us to brainstorm UI/UX ideas, iterate on mockups until we have a completed design, and then probably slice the design. We use XHMTL 1.0 Strict and CSS.

After the slicing, our development team can finish implementing the overhauled Operations Console, and we’d like you to review the work from time to time to make sure the user experience is first rate.

After the Operations Console design is done, we want to redesign our website to match the styling and theming of the Operations Console. Our website is at:

http://fluxcorp.com/

We’re looking to establish a long term relationship as our product’s user interface and our website will need regular refinements and new features designed.

We need ideas to provide a GREAT USER EXPERIENCE to our users.

We’re looking for someone who’s easy going, easy to work with, and has the time to do the work in an expeditious manner. Time is, as always, short.

Apply:

Send your info, portfolio links, and hourly rate to sales@fluxcorp.com. We’ve had bad experiences with designers working for a fixed price, so probably hourly is the right approach.
