Flash Developer with Front-End Design Skills
Description:
Incline Technical Group is a growing software consulting company that specializes in building business-critical applications using Microsoft technologies like SharePoint, .NET, and Silverlight.
We’re currently looking for an experienced, talented Flash Developer to help us build a website for a client since we don’t have Flash experience in-house. Ideally, we’d like someone who’s proficient in both Flash and general front-end design work since we’d like to give a lot of the work to a single individual.
What We’d Like to See:
- 3-5 years of Flash development experience
- Strong web/interactive portfolio showcasing your skills
- Ideally, 3-5 years experience hand-coding valid, cross-browser XHTML/CSS
- Ideally, strong front-end web design and graphics-editing skills
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
This initial project is probably around 20-40 hours of work, but we’d love to give ongoing work to the right individual with whom we can develop a solid, long-term relationship.
We’d naturally be thrilled to find someone local to our area (Colorado Springs / Denver), but we will gladly entertain the idea of someone working for us remotely if he/she can participate in phone/web conferences occasionally and meet any deadlines we mutually set. We believe in maintaining a good work/life balance, so we’re pretty flexible about how we run our business and how we let our team members work.

Front End Developer

TeamRankings.com is a sports data analytics company. Our content and apps help sports fans analyze games and make smarter decisions and picks.
We are looking to hire freelance front end developers to help build out our web site, web applications, and mobile applications. Most important characteristics are the following:
- Ability to slice Photoshop design comps into cross-browser compliant CSS/HTML
- Excellent hand-coded HTML and CSS skills
- Experience writing clean, unobtrusive Javascript/AJAX
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work at a fast pace and with minimal supervision
- Dependability/reliability
“Nice to haves” include experience with graphic design, Smarty, Javascript libraries (JQuery, YUI), Flash, and mobile (iPhone/Android) development.
We are flexible on hours, although we’re looking for freelancers willing to commit to at least 5 hours a week on an ongoing basis.
Freelancers will be expected to work from their own location, and interface with us via phone, IM, email, and other online collaboration tools we use.
One final note: We’re not big on resumes. Feel free to send one, but work samples rule. No project is too small to show us as an example.

Rails Developer
Description:
BIG Folio is a small and profitable web company located in beautiful Bend, Oregon. For over 5 years we’ve been providing online solutions for professional photographers around the world.
We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer (or perhaps 2) to assist with some new projects. Beyond general Rails experience, we are looking for someone with experience:
- Storing and manipulating images in a Rails app (Paperclip, ImageMagick, etc.)
- Using jQuery in Rails apps
- Using ActiveMerchant for eCommerce
- Integrating Rails apps with Facebook Connect
At least one project will require you acting as the project lead and working (more or less) independently. Other, smaller projects will require you to assist our current developers.
