Data Entry / Research Specialist

Work from home 30-40 hours per week, and supplement your household’s income. Successful candidates for this position will enjoy a high degree of autonomy over hours and work schedule. Our team will train you to ensure your success in this position and the opportunity for growth and advancement.

The candidate should possess excellent general computer and typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and an excellent working knowledge of the following applications: Word, Excel, and Email. Candidate will perform their daily activities using a Virtual Office where all software programs are provided. Candidate should be comfortable upgrading existing computer hardware if necessary (increased memory, dual monitor support) and must have access to “High Speed” internet connection (DSL, Cable Modem) and standard home office equipment.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable working for an established leading research/data entry company providing services to the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries. Candidate should also be able to conduct medically oriented online research and analysis as appropriate. Prior or current work experience in one or more of the following: as an internet researcher, in a medical environment (hospital, doctor’s office, pharmacy assistant, medical transcriptionist), and, of course, prior experience with data entry is a plus.

Preference will be given to candidates with additional language skills, preferably Spanish, German, or Japanese. Basic translation skills are satisfactory; a professional level is not necessary.

Candidate should be highly self-motivated and extremely detail oriented. The ability to work within the constraints of a deadline and to communicate effectively with geographically dispersed team members is extremely important.

Candidate must be a United States citizen or currently eligible to work in the United States. The pay is $10 per hour with potential cash-bonuses.

UI/UX Designer

Pips à la Carte is looking for an energetic and talented User Interface/User Experience designer to join its team.

This person will provide interface and visual design support on all of Pips à la Carte properties, applications, and internal tools.

We’re not looking for a specialist. You must be comfortable with both interaction and visual design. We’re looking for someone who is gifted in multiple design-related skillsets, from wireframes to visual design to usability tests to squeaky clean silky smooth HTML/CSS coding.

This position focuses heavily on interaction design and rapidly prototyping interfaces – you need to be able to design both how an app will function and how it will look.

This person will not only help to improve and optimize existing core features, but also have the opportunity to help design the next generation of features, across all our sites.

We are looking for an experienced designer who has the ability to be creative and take ideas from concept to execution. You must have proven design experience working on UI, and work well work well individually and within a team environment. A sense of humor is a must. Strongly desired is the ability to code HTML/CSS. An artistic ability in both illustration and sketching would be a plus. Super bonus points if you’ve dabbled in the financial markets and can beat Call of Duty in Veteran mode blindfolded with both hands tied behind your back standing on one foot.

This opportunity is well suited for a highly talented and motivated designer with a rich portfolio of past projects. You will work closely with our DDT (Dope Development Team) and be the DLD (Dope Lead Designer) at pips à la carte.

This is a telecommute/offsite position, so you can work from anywhere. We have team members working full-time everywhere in the world from the US, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Philippines, Hogwarts, and it works well for us.

This is a contract-to-hire position. If we like each other, we’ll hire you full-time. Simple as pie.
