Template Designer for Online Photo Site

DESCRIPTION: 

  • Pixami provides an online application that allows customers to make custom photo books, calendars, posters, mugs, mousepads, etc. with their own photos and text. We license the software to other companies, who put it on their web sites with their own brand.
  • All of the products are based on premade design templates, in multiple categories like Baby, Travel, etc. What we need is someone to create these templates for us, in multiple categories and styles, on an ongoing basis. The primary designs are jpg so you can use Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. In addition, you will use our Windows app to define where the photos and text go. Ideally we would like to train someone to use our app (pretty simple), and have you build templates for us on an ongoing, regular basis. Our immediate need is for a new batch in the April timeframe.

Customer Service Representatives

DESCRIPTION:

The home based Customer Service Representative interacts with customers and representatives from other lines of business to handle a variety of functions. This position is a work from home position; however applicants must live within driving distance from our facility because training will be held on site and occasionally representatives will be required to visit our location for refresher training. Representatives will provide assistance, perform account research, quote rates, and answer questions regarding reservations. Other questions and inquiries might arise also and representatives must be able to solve multiple complex issues as well as possibly make account changes requested by telephone, chat, email or a ticketing system. The position is a full or part-time position. The position is also a temporary position that starts in the Spring of 2010.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  
Pay rate is $9.00 an hour and the company will provide the necessary equipment to work. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a quiet room.
  • Must have a home phone line, computer, and DSL or Cable internet connection.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, use multiple computer applications simultaneously and be proficient with Windows programs.
  • Strong problem solving skills with customer focus and effective communication.
  • Must be able to work a 40 hour weekly schedule.
  • Pre-employment background checks and drug screens required.

PHP/MySQL (and MS SQL Server) Developer

DESCRIPTION:

  • We are looking for a PHP/MySQL developer who also has experience working with MS SQL Server.
  • The components of the web application operate on two servers, a LAMP server and a Windows 2003/SQL Server/ASP.NET server.
  • We are looking for a PHP/MySQL developer who has previous experience using PHP and odbc_connect on a Linux/UNIX server to query and update an MS SQL Server database on a Windows 2003 server. Please tell us about your previous work with odbc_connect. General LAMP systems administration experience is also desired.
  • Your location does not matter. We are located in the Eastern USA time zone. It is necessary that we be able to communicate, via phone or Skype, during our own business hours.
