Online Advertising. Where should you leave your mark?
Keeping everyone ‘in the know’ of your skills and services is an ongoing task. You need to be on your game when out and about socially because your next big client might just be the fellow you’re noshing with at a friend’s party or the receptionist at your doctor’s office. Potential clients are right around every corner.
What about the ones you don’t come into direct communication or contact with? How to do you find those folks?
Of course you have your online presence set up via social networking, website and online portfolio, but what about the bazillions of web users that aren’t in your network or have no clue about your website and online portfolio?
It’s time to step outside of the box.
Online advertising is a way to get noticed by a whole crowd of potential clients that otherwise may never have the privilege of utilizing your services.
Internet marketing. A necessary truth.
According to Wikipedia, internet marketing is also referred to as i-marketing, web-marketing, online-marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) or e-Marketing, the marketing of products or services over the Internet.
The Internet has brought media to a global audience. The interactive nature of Internet marketing in terms of providing instant response and eliciting responses is a unique quality of the medium. Internet marketing is sometimes considered to have a broader scope because it not only refers to the Internet, e-mail, and wireless media, but it includes management of digital customer data and electronic customer relationship management (ECRM) systems.
Internet marketing ties together creative and technical aspects of the Internet, including: design, development, advertising, and sales.
Internet marketing also refers to the placement of media along many different stages of the customer engagement cycle through search engine marketing(SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), banner ads on specific websites, e-mail marketing, and Web 2.0 strategies.
Is your head spinning? Whew! That sure sounds like a lot of technical jargon, doesn’t it? Let’s break it down.

Freelancing is my life. It's what I know, it's what I'm good at, and I can't imagine doing anything else. You can call me "Freddie the Freelancer"… because I'd prefer not to use my real name for reasons that I'll tell you about in a moment.

Ive ust set up a new cleaning company in bolton uk and found the best source of free advertising comes from word of mouth, vista print are the cheapest for business cards give them out to friends and family and if they dont need your service ask them to pass them on or leave them where they will do you most good…and it works.
The second best is allways pay per click but can be costly if done wrong so make sure you know what your doing better to set your budget to £5 per day and set £0.01 per click so that you can weed out any mistakes before you spend to much of your click budget.
