Independent Contractor for Marketing Work

DESCRIPTION:

 Our client offers Marketing and Project Management skills to various off-shore clients. Due to the growth in the business there is a need for Independent Contractors to work from home to fill various marketing programs. The chosen candidates must have the ability to develop and execute certain key responsibilities and manage clients on a daily basis. He/ she should be responsible, a hard-worker with proven experience and have good communication skills. But, above all must be a team-player.

The ideal candidate should have the willingness to work hard and sometimes “burn the candle at both ends”. He/ she should be open to new ideas and embrace the clients work ethos as their own. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right candidate to gain exposure to unique and sophisticated clients. The programs available are between 3 and 8 hours a day and due to their nature normally have a fixed duration. Alternative projects may be assigned to the Independent Contractor during or at the end of a current project but cannot be guaranteed. Should the Independent Contractor have the right experience and skill work is more abundant.

Programs involve experience or knowledge in :

  • Marketing program management.
  • Marketing project management.
  • Development, execution and measurement of marketing projects.
  • Client relationship activities and execution.
  • Marketing Strategy.
  • Communications Strategy development and execution – internal and external.
  • Online/digital marketing

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Commitment.
  • Quick learner.
  • Overtime may be expected from time to time .
  • 2 to 5 years working experience .
  • Marketing Degree.
  • High standard of written and verbal communication (English).
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Advanced PC skills necessary (Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007).
  • Experience with client contact.
  • Marketing Management experience.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, honest and integral.

Home Office should be set up with :

  • PC
  • ADSL Line
  • Telkom Land Line.
  • MS Office 2003 or 2007 and Windows XP Professional (SP2)

The projects offered require Outstanding Excel, data manipulation, data crunching and Salesforce.com skills.
