Freelance Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
DESCRIPTION:
UniversityChic.com is seeking a part-time college student 5-8 hours a week to manage our daily social media initiatives, newsletter, and monthly analytics. The ideal candidate will already have their own Twitter and Facebook accounts, know basic HTML and PhotoShop, and be well schooled on the finer points of Google Analytics. This role calls for someone who has the flexibility to do multiple social media updates daily (preferably between 10AM-12PM EST) and can put together our weekly newsletter and site traffic reports once a week. Marketing, PR, Communications, and Journalism majors preferred. (Salary negotiable)

User Experience Designer
DESCRIPTION:
Syndicatebleu, a specialty-recruiting firm for creative and marketing professionals, has an immediate opportunity in San Francisco for a User Experience Designer. The UX Designer is responsible for determining how our mobile, web, and application-based user interfaces should work. Within an Agile product team, the best fit for this role will create the concepts, flows, wireframes, and prototypes alongside the User Interface Designer. The UX Designer will partner with the software architects and engineers to propose solutions that enrich the customer experience online. Ideally, he/she will have a deep understanding of one or more of the following: mobile interfaces, ecommerce web environments, iPhone or Android applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have produced accurate documentation/ specification for e-Commerce website.
- 4 + years web-based IA/UX experience, including shopping cart, and e-Commerce web presence.
- Experience in user research observation & translating user research into design decisions.
- Proficiency in Visio, HTML required.

HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript Front-End Developer
DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for experienced developers that are constantly pushing the industry forward by utilizing new technologies like CSS3 and HTML5. You can be located anywhere in the world. Communication will be through Skype and our project management system.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be able to easily convert a psd into standards compliant, semantic HTML/CSS.
- Have good knowledge of implementing additional functionality with javascript frameworks like jQuery and Mootools.
- Be an excellent communicator to collaborate with our team and designers.
- Understand the little details that designers take the time to put into a site, so you know when we want it to be #f2f2f2 and not #e6e6e6.
- Push the limits of what’s possible with new technologies and make an immediate impact.

- Because we are a multimedia company, experience in different media or design experience is a plus but not necessary. Experience with PHP, Rails, Subversion and other server side technologies is also a plus.
- Requirement is a minimum of three years working experience in the industry. Although this is a freelance position we are looking for someone we can build a relationship with and send work to very often.
