We are a San Francisco-based startup looking for a iPhone/iPad UX and Graphic Designer to help us create the next great, iconic online travel brand.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Has a strong sense of design
  • Shares our love for timeless, iconic brands (Ace Hotel, Field Notes) and trendy/upscale brands (Ian Schrager Hotels, Tablet Hotels)
  • Brings a high level of detail to each pixel
  • Stays up to date on Apple’s Human User Interface Guidelines
  • Has a very high level of detail for each pixel
  • Has a strong portfolio of iPhone/iOS projects
  • Wants to build something insanely great

This is  initially a contract role but there’s a strong opportunity for continued work as we refine our application.

Freelance Web Developer for LookLab

DESCRIPTION:

A fashion startup based in New York needs a web developer full time for a 2 – 3 month project. This position is an exciting opportunity if you have a strong interest in trends in the online fashion space, enjoy an innovative startup environment and work well in a small team. We’re looking for a sharp, enthusiastic person to join us as a Web Developer.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You know HTML like it’s second nature.
  • You understand DOM and keep your formatting in CSS.
  • Given the option, you’d rather craft a site by hand than wrestle with Dreamweaver.
  • You have experience creating AJAX-enabled sites, and are familiar with frameworks like ExtJs, Script.aculo.us, and Yahoo UI Library.
  • Clean, intuitive interfaces mean a lot to you.
  • You get annoyed when your site doesn’t look quite right on Safari or Chrome.
  • You’re very picky about fonts.
  • You don’t consider yourself a programmer, but you can Javascript.
  • Nor do you consider yourself a graphic artist, but you can push some pixels in Photoshop.

Technical Expertise:

  • You must have the ability to construct a site from start to finish.
  • Familiarity with Content Management concepts and platforms is essential.
  • HTML/XHTML PHP MySQL Drupal JavaScript / jQuery Photoshop / Illustrator

PHP Developer

DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a PHP Developer to join their fast-paced start-up that is transforming Internet Advertising. Must be a self starter who has an ability to work with minimum direction.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform feasibility analysis for product requirements and/or user stories for delivery within time constraints
  • Design, implement, and unit test proprietary software.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Web Development
  • 3+ years of PHP development
  • 3rd party API integration experience
  • Online Advertising experience would be a plus!
