Ruby on Rails Programmer for Music Platform

DESCRIPTION:

I’m currently looking for a talented Ruby on Rails developer who can give us a hand with implementing a front-end redesign for our independent music platform (http://bit.ly/cT7ZZZ). We have the specs/comps in hand and are essentially trying to make artist profiles customizable. We already have the backend in place, so this development should be pretty quick and fun.

We’re working with a somewhat modest budget, but think this project would be a great fit for a musician, or someone who loves music, and wants to help out artists. There will likely be some other tasks available, if you’re interested, and we’re also preparing to open source the project in the future.

Over the Phone Paid Health Survey

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently conducting a national study on behalf of the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS-niams.nih.gov) about health conditions among medically under-served populations. The purpose of the study is to find the best ways to provide health information to ethnic minorities, especially those living in rural areas.

If you are Latino (Central America, South America, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic) and have a condition or disease of the bones, joints, muscles skin or scalp, we would very much appreciate being able to speak with you.

The study will be on November 23 and December 6-17 over the phone and it will take approximately 60-minutes to complete. You will receive $75 to thank you for contributing to the research.
