Freelance RoR Developer

DESCRIPTION:

About me: I started out a project manager, then front end developer then ruby dev. I’m based in DC and the client is in NYC.

The Client: The client is building a rails app for the real estate market to help real estate agents discreetly sell distressed inventory to tech savvy consumers looking for a bargain.

Background:

I’m working on a project I inherited from another developer, but am running short on hours to put against the project and looking for someone to help take over. The old developer was ok, but didn’t structure the app as well as I’d like. While there is some cleaning re factoring that will need to be done in the longer run, I mostly need someone who can help focus on building some search functionality.

REQUIREMENTS:

Our Needs: So we need a ruby/rails guy to help build out a few functional areas, help build in the CSS/HTML, build some JS where needed. Generally I would say we probably needed 40 hours in the short term and 120-140 hours over 2 months.  What is your availability/rates?
