Front End Developer/Designer

DESCRIPTION:

RoqLogic is looking for a sharp, motivated developer to help us in creating interface pages for our online applications. You should not only have command of the coding and development environments, but also be able to contribute as a key player in the design process (both functional and aesthetic). In other words, good, crisp coding with a keen eye for layout and design.

   

Because our development timeline is very aggressive, we are looking for someone to dig in and contribute immediately. You will be working directly and collaboratively with the company’s principals and senior developer. Meeting delivery schedules is an absolute must.   

Work is available immediately!   

Location is not critical, but Southern California applicants will be given priority. We are more concerned with finding the right person.   

REQUIREMENTS:   

  • Expert knowledge of HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, JSON and XML.
  • A working knowledge of PHP, MySQL.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Flex would be a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Ability converting Photoshop mockups/wireframes into functional web pages.

 We’re a Denver-based web design/development company looking for a contract web developer who can make things happen quickly and efficiently. The job would require 20-30 hours a week. We’re a small team that has fun and loves making clients happy.

You have at least 4 years of experience in web development. You’re a master at HTML/CSS. You know all about WordPress and can get up to speed on similar systems quickly. Knowledge Requirements   

  • Mastery of XHTML/CSS (including cross-browser compatibility)
  • Can turn a PSD into HTML with pixel precision

  • Proficient in PHP/MySQL
  • Source versioning (we usually use git)
  • Expression Engine knowledge is a big plus (we will be using it for many projects)
  • Ruby on Rails knowledge is a plus but not required
  • Magento knowledge is a plus but not required
