Web Developer
DESCRIPTION:
We are a small design and technology studio using the power of imagery to create astonishing luxury goods. [See our Kickstarter campaign, successfully completed a year ago.]
As we prepare to launch our e-commerce site, we are looking for a talented developer to help translate our passion for memorable products onto the web.
Our studio is located near downtown Los Angeles where we hope to meet once/twice a week. We are also open to working virtually if you are outside the LA area.
REQUIREMENTS:
Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in the art of coding with web standards, and able to create beautiful interfaces using CSS3, HTML5 and AJAX.
Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL will also be expected. You should be able to iterate quickly and work closely with a UI/graphic designer to implement new browsing schemes for e-commerce.
Brownie Points:
Creativity and design skills are as important as excellent code. Showing proficiency on both levels would be a great addition to your application.
Being familiar with Shopify’s templating structure will also help expedite the work.
Send examples of your work and a brief description of why you would be a good fit to stephan@lumi.co (not .com). In order to assess your work with HTML5 and AJAX we’d like to see live sites and demos if possible.
