DESCRIPTION:

So, who are we you ask? We’re TasteBuddy, the next hot thing in Restaurant focused start-ups. We are looking for an experienced Python back-end developer that will help our team expedite the server-side development process that will power the new destination for Foodies and their friends across the world! This job requires a true rockstar as it will be powering our mobile applications across multiple platforms, as well as our web and facebook apps.

You will be working with MongoDB (PyMongo), Pyramid (Former Pylons), Nginx, and numerous libraries for social network APIs (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Yelp… etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

True Rockstar Credentials

  • Previously worked in a statup environment
  • Extensive experience building a highly scalable back-end powering modern web+mobile applications
  • Experience working with various social network APIs. (Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc.)
  • Ability to work with Unix servers (e.g. starting/stopping/monitoring processes)
  • Ability to implement written specifications with little oversight
  • Ability to provide insight and advice to the rest of the development team

  • Highly-organized with meticulous (almost stealth-like) attention to detail
