Transcend Services has openings on various children’s teaching hospitals in FL and CA.

  • The CA account has MULTIPLE M-F positions available. All schedules require hours after 6pm EST. All of our acute care positions have been filled on this account; we are now looking for clinic specialists ONLY. Clinic specialists must have experience with ENT, GI, PT, Ortho, Speech Therapy, or Neurology. 10% ESL and about 70% VR.
  • The FL account has a PT position open for acute care transcriptionists. The only available schedule is overnight Tu-Sat (sometime between 11p-7a EST). This account is on a typing-only platform and has about 15% ESL.

All MTs that work on these accounts must obtain their Pediatric Care Specialist certification and will receive company-paid training and ongoing education. In addition to a highly competitive line rate (65 characters including spacebar) and direct deposit, we offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, company-matched 401K, long and short term disability, and 10 days per year PTO accrual at $12/hr for FT status only. PTO and benefits begin the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years minimum of medical transcription work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in pediatric transcription, clinic or acute. Must be in a hospital setting (not just children’s hospitals, but other hospitals with pediatric units will qualify as experience, also) transcribing for 50 or more dictators.
  • Experience with the 4 major work types
  • Ability to reach and maintain a 98.5% accuracy
  • Experience working with English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) dictators is required. These accounts have anywhere from 10-50% ESL dictators.
  • Candidates MUST have access to high-speed Internet service (DSL and Cable Internet is preferred). Satellite will only work on some the new accounts.
  • Must be able to work immediately in the US

Our client is one of the world’s top internet search engine companies and is currently seeking internet-savvy freelance Web Search Evaluators.

THE JOB

Web Search Evaluators will review and evaluate internet search results based on specific search terms and provide a rating depending on the relevance of the search result to the search term. The evaluation work is done using an online automated tool.

For most projects, you will be allowed the flexibility to choose the hours you wish to work each day. We currently run multiple projects, having different hourly requirements, ranging from 12 to 22 hours per week. The freelance work is expected to extend through June, 2011, possibly beyond.
