Braizen is a branding and design firm, specializing in design and web solutions for small business. Part of our services is building custom blogs and websites using WordPress platforms. Our process often involves stretching the limits of the WordPress CMS, tweaking existing themes and creating custom themes to fit the unique needs of each client. Our aim is develop sites that contain a mix of elements, plugins, and widgets that will allow our clients to easily update their content without any substantial knowledge of code.

We’re looking for a dynamic, funk-i-fied freelance developer to join our whacky bunch and help us with our creations. The ideal candidate will have adequate experience with WordPress – in other words, you should build WordPress sites in your dreams … with one hand tied behind your back … hopping on one foot … in the rain. Yeah. In the rain.

REQUIREMENTS:

Our ideal developer soulmate should have:

  • 3+ years of WordPress development experience
  • Work seamlessly across all platforms (Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone, etc.) and all browsers
  • Extensive knowledge of WordPress/Custom Theme Development/Plugins
  • Strong PHP and MySQL experience – JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 3 experience
  • Appreciation of good design/UI – strong knowledge of latest SEO algorithms
  • Fluent in English is a must

Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Minimum 90th percentile score on the MCAT
  • Learn and retain knowledge related to all aspects of the MCAT including knowledge of test format, dates offered, test enrollment process, and admissions timeline
  • Strong content knowledge in all math and science related sections of the MCAT

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • MD/MS/PhD/PharmD preferred
  • Minimum 90th percentile score on the MCAT
  • Regular access to reliable high-speed internet access a must
