We are a lean, productive company, providing an amazing service to smart people creating great sites using WordPress. We work with stellar designers, brilliant copywriters, fantastic SEO experts—and we want to work with you, if you are great.

We are looking for a variety of skills, and we don’t like putting people into boxes—so don’t be surprised if you can’t do everything in the description below—we simply want good, smart people, and we want to hire you for your good work, wherever that is. For the right fit, there will be plenty of paid contract work over the next few years.

We work on the principle of love: If you love what you do, you are quite probably very good at it. We care more about enthusiasm and warmth than raw ability, although that is important, too.

Here is a list of things we are looking for. If you do any combination of the following things exceedingly well, love working with an intelligent team who treats you like a star performer, and love to do excellent work, please contact us for more information.

We are looking for people who have the General Skills listed below, as well as either a strong representation in Specialization A, and/or Specialization B.

Note that if you are not quite a “master” at these skills, but are a great person and love what you do, we could consider hiring you at a Journeyman level. If you are very passionate and smart, we might consider taking you on as an intern, and taking the time to train you.

REQUIREMENTS:

CSS / HTML Geek Skills (Specialization A)

  • Great CSS skills, including layout
  • A fascination with the up-and-coming CSS3, web standards, HTML 5 stuff coming out
  • Seasoned ability to slice Photoshop comps into HTML/CSS (preferably
  • into WordPress themes directly)

WordPress Developer Skills (Specialization B)

  • Firm grounding in web development concepts and principles
  • Plenty of experience with MySQL
  • Good solid, experiential understanding of WordPress template hierarchy
  • Solid know-how around WordPress Loop
  • Build WordPress plugins
  • Commit code to open source

General Skills

  • Works well with others. You’re at least somewhat gregarious, and like keeping in communication with others
  • You’re responsible, and like to take on more responsibility (in return, we will treat you excellently, and try to help make your work easy and fun)
  • Mature, emotionally
  • Familiar with a solid, professional workflow process
  • Comfort and use of the Git source control system
  • Comfortability and familiarity with Unix / Linux

FT/PT Transcriptionist

Radiology Transcriptionist

DESCRIPTION:

Radiology transcriptionist needed for evening shift 3 pm to 10 p.m. or a split shift of 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. along with the 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have experience in radiology transcription. We work directly in two different PACS systems so familiarity is a positive. Must be able to work quickly with little supervision, be able to follow directions and meet quick TATs. No off-shore applicants will be considered.
