DESCRIPTION:

The Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds Group creates and operates Nickelodeon’s virtual worlds and massively multiplayer online (MMO) game experiences for kids and family audiences. Our worlds include the iconic Neopets, now celebrating its 11th year, Petpet Park, a virtual-lifestyle world spinning off from Neopets lore, and coming soon, Monkey Quest, an original action-adventure massively multiplayer online game, with more MMOs in development.

We are searching for a talented and experienced individual to provide monitoring and customer support to all of Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds products (presently Neopets, Petpet Park and Monkey Quest). This is a work from home position that can be performed from anywhere in the US. Monitoring responsibilities include working in our various administrative filters which flag inappropriate content and taking action as needed. The Site Monitor/CSA, Spanish will also be expected to provide site support in the most efficient manner possible while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

General Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring various filters and live messages on our Spanish Language sites
  • Receiving reports and taking appropriate actions
  • Escalating issues as needed according to Nick Kids and Family Virtual Worlds policies
  • Providing support to end users regarding billing, technical support, and general game play
  • Documenting actions taken to resolve issues for customer base
  • Relaying and escalating any issues as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

  • Calm demeanor and pleasant attitude toward customers
  • Highest ethical standards and level of integrity
  • 3+ years experience working in a customer service environment
  • 18+ years of age, and must pass stringent background check

Required Skills:

  • Excellent grammar, use of punctuation and spelling are required
  • Ability to work independently, and escalate site issues without supervision
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Ability to self manage time in a work-at-home environment
  • The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members
  • The ability to translate complex technical issues into consumer friendly responses
  • Ability to remain calm and rational in highly stressful, volatile, and visible situations
  • Experience with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Desired Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of our brand and products – particularly Petpet Park and Neopets
  • Experience with COPPA, children’s privacy, and child safety
  • Experience with online culture and trends
