We need someone who can design outstanding user experiences for desktop (Miro) and web (Universal Subtitles, Miro Community, Miro Guide).We are open to structuring this position as an ongoing part-time contract or as a full-time position.

Freelance Lobbying Writer

DESCRIPTION:

CQ Press is seeking freelance writers to cover the federal lobbying industry. This job requires a self-starter with strong reporting and researching skills as well as an outstanding understanding of the lobbying industry. The freelance writer will be called upon to write daily and/or weekly stories focused on how the lobbying world drives and shapes government action. CQ press is looking for writers who can produce both short and long form pieces.

Responsibilities:

  • Envision and report original stories
  • Generate stories based on breaking news
  • Maintain strong sources and expertise on beat
  • Work collegially with CQ Press editor who will manage the site

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:

  • Previous reporting experience is desired, but not required
  • College or postgraduate education in law, legal journalism, politics or policy preferred
  • Experience writing on government, politics, and or lobbying preferred
  • Strong interest in figuring out how D.C. works

Virtual Agent

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for virtual agents to take inbound customer service, sales and tech positions. This is an Independent contractor position and not an employee. You would receive a 1099 not a W2 at the end of the year. Must be able to train 2-5 weeks 4 hours a day unpaid. We are currently looking for agents to enroll in training immediately because of the Holiday and Travel season.

REQUIREMENTS:

Some customer service experience a must. Must be independent and able to work with very little supervision. Be able to maintain very high standards and quality. Once you certify and began working you will have to maintain very high metrics and work the hours that you schedule. 15-25 hours a week depending on the client. Inbound customer service calls. Sales in you choose a sales client. MUST have NO background noise. You make your own schedule once you certify for the client.

  • Must pass background check and asessments. Also take and pass ACP101
  • XP or windows 7 only with high speed internet.
  • Landline (POTS)

This is for very well known work at home and we only want top agents. Serious replies ONLY.
