Freelance Writer/Researcher
DESCRIPTION:
Classesandcareers.com is seeking talented and web-savvy writers/researchers to help us create up-to-date content for our site. We need people passionate about the education industry that can write useful articles about online education, school programs, online schools, financial aid, and career opportunities. Not only that, but you must be able to do valuable research to help develop resources and guides for our visitors. You will be asked to find research via web, phone, and interviews with experts in the field.
We want researchers/writers who can find and create fresh and useful information for people looking to go back to school. Help us get rid of our old school boring content and pump up the value on our site!
PROJECTS
- Write 1-2 articles per week, 1,000 words each
- Reproduce articles across social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Stumbleupon.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree or currently enrolled in college (preferably communication and journalism majors)

Our young and growing New York-based business magazine is looking for freelance writers to help us create clean, to-the-point, engaging copy on an ongoing basis.
We need writers for news briefs, business profiles and-depending on the quality of your work-feature stories.
REQUIREMENTS:
The right candidate will be reliable, proactive, creative and attentive to detail. An excellent grasp of grammar is absolutely mandatory, and previous experience with AP style is preferred.
This position entails a steady stream of business profile assignments, and we are unlike other publications in that we conduct the interviews here in office. This means that your job will be light on research, and your time will be focused on doing what you do best: writing. If you’re quick, this could mean a steady, heavy volume of work. This position is perfect for young and energetic writers who are looking for a chance to get their bylines in print. Pay ranges from $.08 to $.15 per word, depending on experience. And as we grow, we look forward to raising our pay rates even more.
