Game Artist Needed – Medieval Fantasy – Flash

Game Artist needed for a Castle Defense game developed in Flash/AS3. The game setting is medieval fantasy (knights, mages, goblins, orcs, ogres, etc.) and as long as your art style is original and consistent, it can be anything from cartoony (Castle Crashers, Kingdom Rush) to gritty realism (Warhammer Fantasy art, Skyrim). Preferably it should be vector art, but if you want to use prerendered 3d art or if you’re an awesome pixel artist we might consider that as well.

REQUIREMENTS:

The game is a 3rd person defensive shooter, where the player fires a variety of weapons and spells at rows of enemies invading from the opposite side of the screen. Loot is collected for offensive and defensive upgrades between levels.

You would need to produce all the art, including backgrounds, characters, animations (attack, walk & death cycles), weapons, turrets, barricades, collectibles, spell effects, screen transitions and GUIs such as the HUD and various screens (title screen, credits, level selection, shop & game over screen).

The good thing is that the game is playable and feature complete and contains placeholder art and animations for ALL assets, so it will be easy to see what needs to be done.

Please include a link to your previous work, preferably with at least one example of an animated fantasy creature or character.

Payment is negotiable, but basically we can pay a bit up front and also give percentages of the revenue from licenses, ads, and microtransactions.
