Web Designer
DESCRIPTION:
The Center for Educational Networking (CEN) is looking for a talented web designer or web design team to work alongside our development team to produce attractive and usable designs for our ongoing web projects.
CEN is a grant-funded office that is responsible for supporting the communications efforts of several special education grants in the state of Michigan. You can learn more about us by visiting www.cenmi.org.
CEN’s development team focuses on delivering solutions that are meaningful, usable, accessible, and helpful for the identified target audiences.
In a typical project, our in-house team develops documentation that includes wireframes, technical specifications, and any creative requirements. We are looking for a web designer to create mockups based on that documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
We look for designers who:
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of usability and accessibility as it relates to visual design for the web
- Offer suggestions, as appropriate, on wireframes, interfaces, best practices, etc…
- Have excellent communication skills
- Welcome and respond to client feedback
- Provide reliable service
- Provide estimates and delivery dates
