Freelancing is my life. It’s what I know, it’s what I’m good at, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

You can call me “Freddie the Freelancer”… because I’d prefer not to use my real name for reasons that I’ll tell you about in a moment.

I’ve been a freelance writer for over 15 years. I’ve written for newspapers, magazines, websites, and businesses of every size. You’ve heard of me. And if you haven’t heard of me, you’ve probably read my work. My customer list is a big list consisting of everything from mom and pop shops to publicly-traded multinational organizations. I earn more than enough to make a comfortable living.

And that is the reason why I’m not releasing my name or who my customers are. I am here to help freelancers. Period. I’m not here to trade on my name. I am not here to brag about what I earn (and I don’t want people asking for handouts). More importantly, I want the freedom to talk about the REAL issues and opportunities that freelancers face without the fear that one of my customers will call me up because they read something that they thought was about them.

When I’m not writing or helping other freelancers, I fit into the following demographic: graduate degree; married; house in the suburbs; watches NASCAR on Sundays. That’s about all you need to know.

Now, stop reading about me and let’s get to work!
